Myths, Religious Importance and Traditions

Iladu is a wild cucumber and resembles normal domestic cucumber but small and oval in size. The tatse is very bitter.
Tantric/Mantric use Iladu/jungli kakdi in Doodh fool , Chhayaa, Nagjhadi and Bhut puja . In some cases, Mantric-Tantric use Iladu as alternate of sacrificing he goat and cut the same.
Many times, people use the small Iladu /Ilaru fruits with green chilies and flowers for making garland.
