Kula Nand Ghanshala wrote many Garhwali dramas illustrating various subjects related to rural societies of Garhwal. Ghaprol is related illustrating various anti-social activities in Garhwali villages as producing country liquor unauthisedly; hunting edible wild animals, fishing by guns and gun powders (again unauthorized); and many other mal practices.
Kula Nand has been successful in showing many types of rural crimes in a small skit. The dialogues seem to be heard on day today basis by readers or audience .
The Ghaprol drama by Ghanshala is suitable as filler dramas in cultural programs .
