Jhees story by Sandeep Rawat raises the discussion on inter-caste marriage. Two children fell in love from the childhood and they desire to marry with each other too. However, society rules, culture and future do not allow for inter –caste marriage.
The story narration is simple and having common proverbs as Machhi Pani jan Jyu Paran. Sandeep followed the story telling style of folk story telling style that is simplest way. The story lacks romance that was a must in such plot. However, Sandeep leaves a question for the readers and up to certain extent , that makes story impressive.
