Through the fear of Punishment, the subject become virtuous and subject dot not territories the  weak and do not spread rumours/don’t speak untruth.

(Shukra Niti Fifth Chapter Mitra -Amitra Lakshan second 45)

Though, the punishment is not desirable, it is present in constitutions of all countries and in big or small organization.

Punishment is used for the following results in the organizations-

The Punishment stops undesirable behaviours of employees.

The punishment helps in stopping the tardiness of the employees.

The punishment helps in stopping absenteeism in the organization.

Employees do not try substandard work due to fear of punishment

Punishment is a widely used tool for controlling employees or citizens.
